Bandai released the Soukougeki super deformed candy set in 2001 to coincide with the theatrical run of Godzilla - Mothra - Ghidorah - Daikaiju Soukougeki. There are nineteen figures in the series, with each numbered. Each case comes with nineteen boxes (one for each figure), and a cardboard spacer where a twentieth box would appear, which differs from the Shoshingecki set of the previous year, which included an extra #19 figure.

In addition to the nineteen standard figures in the set, there were also released five chase figures, which were randomly inserted in cases in place of the standards figure. Unfortunately, the purchase of a case does not insure getting a chase figure. The characters represented are those form the GMK fim and include Godzilla 2001 (Soukougeki-Goji), Mothra Adult (2001), Mothra Larva (2001), King Ghidorah (2001), and Baragon (2001).

Each figure came in a box with a randomly inserted collectible card. The top of each box features the number of the figure as well as it's name. The sides include images of the toys, cards, and an announcement about the 5 chase figures.
