Iwakura/Orion released their third set of Godzilla/TOHO candy toys, dubbed the Godzilla's Son Collection, on January 17, 2005. Each standard-release figure is approximately 3-4 inches tall or long, and comes individually boxed with a foldout card and a gold string so that the figures can be used as ornaments. The boxes are the same for all figures, and there's no way to know what figure you have without opening the box. The Rose Biollante figure comes with a yellow box within which all of the movie cards may be kept. The movie cards themselves feature a color movie poster, a pic of the depicted character, and an image of the toy.

Like the previous Iwakura series, there are a number of variations, exclusives and limited editions. The easiest to get are the grayscale figures, which are no more or less rare than the colored toys. These figures also come with cards, string, and a card holder. In addition, and pictured on the box, is a 1963 Goten chase figure and a Godzilla with Minya hibernating figure.
