Hedorah Flying

Hedorah Flying

Marmit released the flying Hedorah in 1999 and it is number 77 in the Marmit line. The figure is a great idea and looks very nice. It has similar eyes to the standing version and a similar paint scheme. The figure is made in two pieces and joined together at the center. The figure easily comes apart and the does not align well due to the soft vinyl and that there is no support in the center of the figure. The bottom of the figure does have nice detail and the Marmit copyright. The figure comes in a bag with a header card.

In 2001 Marmit released an exclusive set of five Vinyl Paradise figures for the Chiller Theater Horror and Sci Fi Convention in New Jersey. Produced for the U.S. market and limited to only 100 pieces, the figures have new paint styles and mold colors. The figures in the set include Godzilla '68, King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla I, Gigan, and Hedorah (Flying). The header cards are stamped 2001 in red and are a similar style as that of the Vinyl Para Baby series. Unlike the earlier San Diego ComiCon exclusive set, these do not bear the name of the convention on them.

The Chiller variation of Hedorah is molded in pea green with red, blue, black, and gold highlighting.
