MechaGodzilla 2002 GD-45 Chogokin

MechaGodzilla 2002 GD-45 Chogokin

Bandai released their GD-45 DieCast MechaGodzilla in 2002. It's a really amazing piece. It stands approximately 7 inches tall, and has over 20 points of articulation. The figure's legs and chest are completely cast n metal, while the rest of the figure is molded in a thick, hard plastic giving the figure a good deal of heft. Just a few of the articulation points are the wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, ankles (side-to-side and up, down), knees, and hips. The tail alone has 4 articulation points. In addition, the mouth opens revealing his breath cannon, and his chest plate opens revealing his Absolute-Zero Cannon.

The figure does require some assembly, specifically the attaching of several of his dorsal plates and his super-weapons, which themselves are detachable, with removable wrist blades and swerving shoulder cannons.

MechaGodzilla comes in a thick, sturdy box with detailed assembly instructions.
