DaiKaiju Eiga (die-KIE-ju EH-gah): The Japanese term for "Giant Mysterious Beast (or Monster) Movies." Movie studios around the world have produced dozens of these amazing films over the years. Several Japanese studios in particular have produced some of the most definitive examples of the genre. The DaiKaijuEiga List: An e-mail community dedicated to the friendly discussion of anything related to giant monster movies. Established in February 1999, the DKE List is one of the oldest and most active monster movie related mailing groups on the internet. We currently have more than 250 members and average well over 400 posts a month. Regular activities include a Kaiju Topic of the Week, Round Robin Fan Fiction Stories, and semi-weekly Chat Sessions sponsored by Monster Zero.
